Terms of Service — Lakay Connect

Welcome to Lakay Connect, operated by Lakay Innovations LLC (“Lakay Connect,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Maryland limited liability company. By accessing our website or purchasing an eSIM plan from us, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before completing a purchase.

1. Who We Are

Lakay Connect is an eSIM reseller. We sell prepaid mobile data eSIM plans sourced from third-party eSIM providers, which we purchase and deliver to you under the Lakay Connect brand. References to “Provider(s)” throughout these Terms mean the underlying eSIM data suppliers we work with to fulfill orders.

2. What We Sell

We sell eSIM data plans covering specific countries or regions, as described on our Plans page at the time of purchase. Plan details (data amount, validity period, and coverage area) are as stated on the product listing at checkout. We reserve the right to update pricing, plan availability, and coverage details at any time without prior notice, though changes will not affect orders already completed.

3. Order & Delivery Process

3.1 Orders are placed and paid for directly through our website via our secure payment processor.

3.2 Orders are fulfilled manually. Once your order and payment are confirmed, we purchase the corresponding eSIM plan from our Provider and deliver your QR code and activation instructions to the email address provided at checkout.

3.3 Our standard delivery window is within 2–4 hours during business hours, and within 24 hours outside business hours. We recommend ordering at least 24 hours before your travel date to allow time for delivery and installation.

3.4 It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery information (correct email address) and to ensure their device is eSIM-compatible and carrier-unlocked prior to purchase.

4. Activation & Usage

4.1 eSIM validity periods generally begin upon activation (first connection to a supported network), not at the time of purchase or installation, unless otherwise stated on the specific plan.

4.2 Coverage, network availability, and data speeds are determined by the underlying mobile networks in each destination and are outside of our direct control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific speeds, or coverage in every location within a stated region.

4.3 Each eSIM/QR code is intended for a single installation on a single compatible device, unless otherwise noted.

5. Pricing & Payment

5.1 All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated and are due in full at the time of order.

5.2 Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment card details on our systems.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

Please see our separate Refund Policy for full details on eligibility and process. In summary: orders may be canceled and refunded prior to eSIM delivery; once an eSIM has been delivered and/or activated, it is generally non-refundable, consistent with the nature of digital products.

7. Customer Support

We provide customer support for installation assistance and order-related issues via email/WhatsApp. We aim to respond to support inquiries within a few hours.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lakay Innovations LLC and Lakay Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use an eSIM plan purchased through our website, including but not limited to lost data, missed communications, or travel disruptions. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount paid for that specific order.

9. Third-Party Providers

While our eSIM plans are delivered under the Lakay Connect brand, the underlying mobile network service is provided by third-party Providers and their partner mobile network operators. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or network performance of these underlying networks, beyond our obligation to deliver a valid, working eSIM as described at purchase.

10. Prohibited Use

You agree not to resell, redistribute, or misuse eSIM plans purchased from Lakay Connect outside of their intended personal use, and not to use our services for any unlawful purpose.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
